On the occasion of Human Rights Day, the Movement of Afghanistan Women in Exile raises its voice on behalf of millions of Afghan women and girls who, both inside Afghanistan and beyond its borders, continue to endure discrimination, violence, and the systematic denial of their fundamental rights. Human Rights Day is a reminder of the universal commitment to protect the dignity and equality of every individual. Yet the current reality in Afghanistan and the region reflects one of the most severe and persistent human rights crises of our time.
