Statement of Appreciation by the Movement of Afghanistan Women in Exile on the Visit of Sima Noori
The Movement of Afghanistan Women in Exile extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude for the visit of the delegation representing the Gathering of Taliban Opposition Groups in Islamabad, with special recognition of Sima Noori, a member of the leadership of the gathering, for her meaningful and compassionate engagement with Afghan women in exile. During her visit, Sima Noori met with protesting Afghan women and girls who are currently living under difficult and uncertain circumstances in Pakistan, where many continue to face insecurity and the risk of forced deportation. Accompanied by the leaders of several protest movements—including Farzana Rezaei, Rahel Talash, Safia Arefi, and Latifa Shojaei—she visited women in Punjab, Sadiqabad, and Faisal Town to hear directly about their experiences, offer encouragement, and express solidarity with their peaceful struggle.
