Statement of the Movement of Afghanistan Women in Exile On the Ongoing Persecution of the Hazara Community

The Movement of Afghanistan Women in Exile strongly condemns the systematic persecution and violence targeting the Hazara community, which has persisted over past decades and, according to numerous reports by human rights organizations and observers, continues under the current de facto authorities in Afghanistan. We express our deep concern over the serious risks, discrimination, forced displacement, and humanitarian challenges faced by Hazaras both within Afghanistan and in neighboring countries.
